Remember when wallpaper was outdated and everyone wanted just white and grey walls. Over the past few years I have been seeing a lot of wallpaper used in Nursery's and I am here for it! I personally LOVE wallpaper in Nursery's. I think it creates a lot of visual interest and personality in a room. It is also so fun for babies and parents to look at. I believe wallpaper transforms a room into something so unique and special to your home. You can wallpaper just one wall, multiple walls, or all of them. In my Pretty in Pink Room I designed it with all of the walls wallpapered.
When I think of a little girls room I think of pink, flowers, and butterflies. I wanted to create this baby girl nursery incorpating these elements. For all of my pink lovers, this is the nursery for you! This wallpaper caught my attention because of its beautiful floral details. I like how it doesn't feel too overwhelming or too dark. It has the right amount of detail, but also feels very elegant and bright. Adding in butterfly artowork helps to draw your attention to other details in the room. All of the butterfly prints are sourced from Etsy and I think that they would look so sweet in any little girls nursery or room. This brass crib is one of my favorite crib styles ever. It is such a timeless crib that would look good with so many different styles and nursery themes. Incorporating brass and gold really help to warm up this nursey which is why I chose brass accents like the brass mirror, brass frames, and brass floor lamp. The pink curtains and pink rug add more touches of pink throughtout the room. I wanted to keep the rest of the furniture more neutral so I chose white and off white for them. I think that the white dresser is perfect for this room and it is really a unique piece. I love the knobs and little ornate details on the drawers. The cream rocker and ottamon would work great in any nursery. I personally have this rocker in my sons nursery so I can attest to how soft and comfortable it is. This was one of my favorite purchases for my sons nursery. I highly reccommend investing in a good and comfortable rocker as you will use them very often! This rocker also comes with with an ottamon which is so nice if yo need additional space to store toys and nursery items. The white side table also is a great addition to the pink nursery. I have similar side tables in my own home and think that they are perfect to fill small spaces and put little treasures on top. The lamp shown in this nursery is a traditional classic brass lamp. I have this is my current nursery and love the finish and look of it! The brass mirror would also work great in this nursery. Mirrors are a great thing to put on a wall if you don't want artwork on every wall. Plus babies love to look and see themselves in mirrors! This is another view of the Pretty in Pink Nursery. This allows you to see more decoration ideas for this nursery.
I think that this is the sweetest little corner in the nursery. When I found the pink canopy I thought that it would work great in this room. It would be such a fun spot for babies and kids to play in with their toys and stuffed animals. This would also be a fun little reading nook for kids. I thought that a wall shelf would be perfect next to the canopy. This wall shelf is great because you can hang stuff on it like clothes as well as store your favorite baby books and stuffed animals.
I hope you enjoy my Pretty in Pink Nursery! I had so much fun creating it! I have linked the items in the room below if you are interested in any of them!
