  This is my current bedroom design. I created two views so you could see the layouts from different angles. We currently rent our house so we are not able to paint the walls. I choose to keep the room more neutral and use white, black, and brass as my main color scheme. I wanted to use mainly black furniture so chose black nightstands, a black dresser, and a black side table. I love this side table found from Amazon. It fits this little nook so perfectly and looks great with greens on it! I also love the black dresser and nightstands.
My bedroom isn't huge so it was a little challenging picking out furniture that would fit the layout while also fiting my design aesthetic. The dresser and nighstands aren't huge, but they fit my room great! I love brass details in a room. I believe that brass gives a room a more warm and homey feel. I love the brass lamps I found from Amazon. You can even change out the shades and add empire or pleated lampshades. The brass and black frames also tie in both of the black and gold color scheme into the room. The gold velvet curtains were also a great find! They add a nice pop of color to the room!  I have so many frames in my home. I love adding frames to family pictures, art prints, posters, etc. Frames really enhance any picture and make it look even better. I have found that not all frames are the best quality. I have gone through many stores in search of a frame I like just to leave empty handed. I have created a list of my favoirte frames from Amazon. I personally have every single one of these frames in my own home. These are all great quality frames.
You could even make a gallery wall incorporating all of these frames. I have a few gally walls in my own home and have used some of these frames. If you are on the hunt for any frames I highly reccomend the ones above. Another way to find good affordable frames is to thrift them. A lot of thrift shops carry really good frames for really cheap. This is a great way to find a unique frame to have in your home. I just reccommend carrying a measuing tape to make sure your thrifted frame will fit your speacial picture or art work.  Winnie the Pooh is such a sweet and classic storybook. I think it would be a great theme in a nursery room! You could even use it as a theme for either or girl or a boy. For the decor in this nursery, I created a color scheme to start off. My color scheme was yellow, orange, sage, and blue. Once I knew what colors I wanted to use in my nursery, I was able to more easily find other decorations that would look good in the room.
A lof of the color for this room comes from the stuffed animals. However, I love how the blue side table and blue puff bring in more touches of blue. They add more color to this nursery. Artwork is also a great way to add more color to a room. I decided to include a gallery wall in this room. Gallery walls are nice if you have a blank wall that you don't know what to do with. They add so much character to a room. I really love this winnie the pooh gallery wall. It really tells a story through the pictures. I have compiled a list of winnie the pooh decorations to make it easier for you to find what you are looking for. These would all look so sweet in a nursery!  These would all be such fun rockers to have in any nursery! I love a neutral rocker as it can go with any color scheme. I have the top rocker and it is one of my favorite purchases for our nursery! It is an investment, but so worth it in my opinion! It is so comfortable and comes with an ottoman which is great to put extra items in like blankets and stuffed animals. I also am loving leather rocking chairs right now. They would look great in a traditional, classic nursery. I have linked a great option below. The last rocker is the curved, cream rocker. I think that this would be a uniqueu rocker to have in your nursery. I am loving the curved shape of this rocker! I have the links attached below!
For this sitting room I was inspired by these gorgeous art prints. I knew that I had to create a gallery wall with them! Gallery walls are one of my favorite things to create! I think that they are so fun to make and they can really add some character and color to any room. If you have a blank wall in a room and are unsure of what to add, a gallery wall is always a great option. The colorful floral detailed artwork in this room make me so happy! That is always something that I try to accomplish in any room design. I want the room to make me happy and feel like home. It should include things that you love and items that bring you joy!
I also love all of the ornate brass details in this room. Brass and gold add such warmth to any room and makes it feel more homey. One of my favorite items in this room is the brass floor lamp. This is the lamp of my dreams! I absolutely love the bottom curves and shape of this lamp. I think that it would be such a unique lamp to have in any home! I added a pleated lamp shade which I believe compliments this lamp very well! I hope you enjoy this sitting room design.
